Problems, Returns and Warranty FAQ

Question: I ordered a screen with specific model number and you have sent me the wrong screen with different model numbers?
Ans: Screen manufacturer keep changing the model / part numbers of the screen with time. So, it is very hard to get hold of the same part/ model number every time. Therefore the screen we will send may have different model/ part number but will fit and work properly with your laptop.

Question: I ordered screen for my “SONY” laptop and the screen you have sent belongs to LG?
Ans: Most of the laptop manufacturers do not manufacture screens by themselves like; Sony, HP, Dell, Advent, Acer etc. They use the screens made by some other manufactures like AUO, LG and Samsung.

Question: I ordered a screen for my laptop and the screen you have sent is the wrong one?
Ans: Laptop manufacturers are using a variety of screen panels when assembling a same model of laptop. Therefore, your laptop model could be available with LED back light or CCFL back light.
Or it could be available with different screen having different size of the connectors. So, if you are not sure please email us before you buy the screen.

Question: What is your warranty policy?
Ans: We offer 1 year warranty on our products.

Question: What is and what isn’t covered under the warranty?
Ans: 1) Warranty covers Manufacturing defects / Technical Faults like pre-mature backlight outage, video failure, and dead on arrival (DOA). 
2) This warranty excludes any damage/mishandling caused by the user and normal wear and tear.

Question: The screen has developed a manufacturing fault, how can we proceed now?
Ans: If our supplied item develops a fault due to a manufacturing defect please contact us for RMA (return merchandise authorization) and return instructions. If you return the item, you must return it with RMA number and copy of invoice, and must state reason for return.
(Note: Any faulty item(s) or wrong item(s) must be returned within 14 days from receipt. It is customer's responsibility to pay for return postage in any instance. It is advisable that customer should obtain proof of postage in case of rare event of the item not being received.

Question: What happens if the goods are damaged in transit? 
Ans: Please check carefully your goods on delivery and if package is damaged you must inform delivery person and must write damaged parcel when signing for delivery. If you have received goods damaged in transit, you must report to us within 5 days of receipt. We cannot except any damage claims outside of this timeframe.

Question: I have sent the screen back to you, but still have not received my refund/ replacement?
Ans: We can only refund or replace the item when we actually receive it back. And you must return item with RMA number of copy of invoice, without this we cannot identify the item.

Question: I ordered a screen of yours and now the screen is no longer required. Can I return this back?
Ans: We offer 14 days peace of mind guarantee (refund or exchange). It is customer's responsibility to pay for return postage.
