Change Shipping Address


Question: I have bought the item with wrong address; can you ship it to a different address?

PayPal do not allow to change address once the order is placed.

We will dispatch items to PayPal registered address ONLY, received with your order.

Please do not send any message or request for address change as we cannot change your shipping address once order is placed.

Question: How Can I change shipping address?

If you like to change shipping address, please add your new address in "PayPal" before ordering and then choose your new shipping address at check out.

Please do not add any note in order or send message to change shipping address, as we can’t change shipping address once order is placed.

 

Cancel my Order


Question: I have just bought the item and do not need any more or bought the wrong item; can you cancel or stop the order straight away?

Please send message through and we will do our best to cancel or stop the order if possible (but not always possible) as we have an automatic system and it takes the orders from website and process them automatically.

We will reply messages as 1st come 1st served basis and there may be other messages in queue before your message, it is not possible to jump and see your message 1st.

Please do not send 100’s of messages/emails as it will just delay our response time to other customers.

If we were not able to cancel or stop your order and your order is shipped, please request RMA number for return through messaging once you have received the item and we will be happy to assist you.

 

Received Different Part Number


Question: I ordered a screen with specific part number and you have sent me the wrong screen “different part number”?

Screen which we will ship is guaranteed to be fully compatible with the LCD part number or laptop model specified in the title of this listing. If we don’t have exact model, we will ship compatible screen. We are doing our best to list all items “compatible” as screen manufacturer keep changing the model/part numbers of the screen with time. So, it is very hard to get hold of the same part/model number every time.

Therefore, the screen we will send may have different model/ part number but will fit and work properly with your laptop. However, if you need exact part number please send message Before You BUY to check if we have the particular part number in stock.

Question: Do you sell genuine screens, and what is the quality of the product?

There are only few manufacturers who make screens. We source laptop screens directly from the manufactures like Samsung, LG, AUO, Sharp, ChiMei Innolux, Chunghwa, Toshiba, IVO, Hannstar etc.

We only sell genuine high-quality screens which are exactly same installed in laptops by laptop manufacturers like Apple, Dell, HP, Sony, IBM Lenovo, Asus, Acer, Samsung, Packard Bell, MSI and Toshiba etc. and most of them don’t make screens themselves.

Question: I ordered screen for my “SONY” or “Apple” laptop and the screen you have sent is LG, AUO etc.?

Most of the laptop manufacturers do not manufacture screens by themselves like; Sony, HP, Dell, Advent, Acer etc. They use the screens made by some other manufactures like Samsung, LG, AUO, Sharp, ChiMei Innolux, Chunghwa, Toshiba, IVO, Hannstar, so don’t surprise if you received screen made from above manufactures instead of “Sony or Apple” etc.

Question: I ordered a screen for my laptop and the screen you have sent is the wrong one?

Laptop manufacturers are using a variety of screen panels when assembling a same model of laptop. Therefore, your laptop model could be available with LED back light or CCFL back light.

Or it could be available with different screen having different size of the connectors. So, if you are not sure please send message before you buy the screen.
Invoice & VAT

Question: Do you provide a VAT invoice?

We provide a full VAT invoice with every order. Invoice will be emailed to your email address written. once the item has been dispatched along with the tracking number (depending on your chosen delivery method).

Question: I want to buy without VAT as i have a valid “EU VAT number” or I am an “offshore customer”

Quality & Trade Discount


Question: If I purchase a screen from lcd4laptop and one directly from the manufacturer, what is the difference between these two?

There will be no difference in quality but we offer a wide range of screens and competitive prices than manufacturers.

Question: Do you offer trade discount?

If you are a reseller and looking for reliable and reputable screen supplier look no further. We can offer you professional service, top quality products and customized prices as per your order size. We can supply from a screen or a pallet to a full container.

We do offer trade prices / discounts for bulk orders, please email your trade inquiry over sales@lcd4laptop.co.uk and we will get back to you with the trade price.
Warranty Period

Question: What is your warranty policy?

We offer 1 Year warranty on our products.

Question: What is and what isn’t covered under the warranty?

Warranty covers Manufacturing defects / Technical Faults like pre-mature backlight outage, video failure, and dead on arrival (DOA).

This warranty excludes any damage/mishandling caused by the user and normal wear and tear.

Damaged in Transit

Question: What happens if the goods are damaged in transit?

Please check carefully your goods on delivery and if package is damaged you must inform delivery person and must write damaged parcel or tick on “Unchecked” when signing for delivery. If you have received goods damaged in transit, you must report to us within 48 hours of receipt. We cannot accept any damage claims outside of this time frame.

Please take few pictures of the box and the item then email us over support@ordersdirect.com as required by the courier, and don’t forget to write your ID in the email for reference.

 

Returns


Question: I ordered a screen of yours and now the screen is no longer required. Can I return this back?

We offer 30 days peace of mind guarantee (refund or exchange). It is customer's responsibility to pay for return postage.

Question: The screen has developed a manufacturing fault; how can we proceed now?

If our supplied item develops a fault due to a manufacturing defect please contact us for RMA (return merchandise authorization) and return instructions. If you return the item, you must return it with RMA number and copy of invoice, and must state reason for return. (Note: Any faulty item(s) or wrong item(s) must be returned within 30 days from receipt. It is customer's responsibility to pay for return postage in any instance. It is advisable that customer should obtain proof of postage in case of rare event of the item not being received.

Question: I have sent the screen back to you, but still have not received my refund/replacement?

We can only refund or replace the item when we actually receive it back. You must return item with RMA number and copy of invoice, without this we cannot identify the item and it will delay refund/replacement.
